        Wang (first name unverified)

          (1835-1910)

               (c.1881 - 1900^)

               Sorimsa Cheol Gwonbeop (Korea).

Wang traveled to Korea from China, and lived and trained with Lee ki-ho and his family.

Historical Lineage Note:

Master Lee ki-ho had a daughter who married into the Korean family of "Kim" and had a son,

Kim ji-ho. When Kim ji-ho was one-year old, Lee died. Wang stayed with the Lee family and

eventually trained and passed on the art and teachings of Sorimsa Cheol Gwonbeop to Kim before presumably

          returning to China.

^Approximate timeframe Master Wang was involved in Kim's training life, which could

           have started circa 1887 timeframe.

Kim ji-ho++

     (1880-1967)

          Sorimsa Cheol Gwonbeop (Korea).

Shorinji Tekken Ryu (Name change - Moved to Japan 1954).

                    Shaolin Iron Fist System

                         Shorinji: Japanese for Sorimsa/Shaolinsi

                         Tekken: Japanese for Iron Fist

                         Ryu: Japanese for System.

++Ji also spelled Jee, Chi or Chee, is a Korean family name, as well as a popular

element in Korean given names.  The two syllables/characters of a Korean given

name may be written together, hyphenated or divided into two.

Therefore, Kim ji-ho can also be written as Kim jiho.  Korean names written in

hangul (Korean writing system) and translated for western use often have misspellings.

Within my documentation I have attempted to maintain consistent naming conventions.
